Ivano-Frankivsk hosted the second festival “Vgoru Sertsya”

The majority of Ivano-Frankivsk dwellers are the Christians, and everybody expresses its being an inhabitant of the Christian city in its own way. In the frameworks of the festival “Vgoru Sertsya” everyone had an opportunity to feel a spiritual rising via music and communication and through the joint creative activities. The fest was preceded by a few events: by a School of Angles meeting (all volunteers of the festival are called angels, and their supervisors – archangels) and by free entry competition of photography and shorts called “Frankivsk – the Christian city”. So the festival started from the opening of the winning photos and shorts exhibition. Then child and family contests on drawing and singing constituted the Space of Happiness. The Space of Sacraments consisted of the Bible  reading, enjoying icons, prayers and confessions. The Q&As Space featured clerical talks of the youth and priests. And in the evening at the square near the city lake after the Managing Eparch’s of the Ivano-Frankivsk eparchy of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church benediction was held 4-hour concert under the slogan “We play carefully when playing for the God”. It’s participants were: children Catholic ensemble “Noah’s Ark” (Vinnytsya). “Band of community “As Maria” – little band from Ivano-Frankivsk, Band “Kana” which consists various Ukrainian city dwellers, and guests from Poland  «MateO» and «New Life’m».
