Fire Theatre “Proty Nochi” in Sytkivtsi boarding school

The youngest visitors of this year's ArtPole festival were the kids from boarding school in Sytkivka village (Nemyrivsky region, Vinnytsya oblast). Over the two days at the festival they've received plenty of new impressions having visited the festival workshops. The children engaged in hat-making, visited animation workshop of Stepan Koval and gladly listened to the fairy-tales narrated by Sashko Lirnyk. The kids were stunned by the art of the performers at the “Proty Nochi” fire theatre. In October, the actors visited the boarding school and run a workshop for kids. At the presentation, the performers explained about various fire instruments and techniques required to master them, and run a practical training, though without the fire this time around. The 'tools of the trade' remain at the school, for kids to train at the physical culture lessons. While in the evening, the performers run a fire show for the kids.
