Ethno-band Burdon from Lviv represents the music of wild and mysterious Carpathian Mountains, the music that establishes connection with the ancient world. The music of the band is mainly based on the traditional Ukrainian, Hungarian and Romanian music. Many songs are derived from local traditions of the unique ethnic groups of the Carpathian region such as lemky, boiky and hutsul. The unique sounding of this multicultural mix is made by female vocal, violin, bouzouki, hurdy-gurdy, moraharpa, jaw harp, mandoline, contrabass and percussion.
