The Perkalaba presented its new album “!chydro”

At the party apart from Perkalaba one could listen to Hutsul dub, Gipsy breaks and live drymba from DJ Binghi, and watch a photoproject of Rostyslav Shpuk called “Seizure of Berlin” where all the photos were taken during the last German tour of Perkalaba, and also collages of Grytsya Erde which in fact illustrate the “!chydro” album cover.

The Perkalaba’s new disc with a naïve and provocative name “!CHYDRO” (promoted during the tour over the Europe) it’s again a new Perkalaba. This time it differs in music and not in the sound or stage image. There is more music in it. The songs remain the same, naïve and provocative, but they have been enlarged by music.  The lyrics feature the same topics and in the same primitive style but they include more music. The arrangements are refined in the same manner but they have more music in them too. And the music itself also has more music than ever. Do not ask anyone what it means. Do not ask the musicians about this. Just listen to them. Yurko Izdryk
